VIOLIN AND VIOLA LESSONS WITH

Music has a uniquely powerful ability to soothe, distract, inspire, energise, comfort, connect and unite people. Music lessons can offer all of these things. 

The value of a music lesson can also be as simple as a welcome distraction from day to day stresses or the unique challenges we're all facing the world over. Online lessons can offer those feeling the weight of isolation something to break up the daily monotony and some companionship from outside the home.

I'm currently offering fully customisable, individual instrumental lessons on Violin and Viola - in person or online.

I'm a professional violist and violinist. I started my career as a classical orchestral musician playing with orchestras such as the Adelaide, Sydney, Queensland and Munich Symphony Orchestras and the Australian Opera And Ballet Orchestra.

In recent years I've performed as a session musician in a large range of non-classical contexts and genres (concert tours, recording sessions, TV appearances and corporate entertainment). I've performed, recorded and toured with a wealth of high profile artists such as Josh Groban, Missy Higgins, Lana Del Rey, Eminem, John Farnham, Michael Buble’, Harry Connick Jnr, Kanye’ West, Delta Goodrem, Bliss N Eso and Pete Murray. I've performed live on TV shows such as The Voice Australia, Sunrise and X Factor.

I've been teaching viola and violin for over 25 years in schools (primary to tertiary) and at my home studio and have taught a huge range of skill levels and students of all ages from 4 to 65.

I'm a mum and I love teaching kids but I've also taught many adult beginners which I find really rewarding.
